Orders & Cancellation


How can I place an order?

That has never been easier! Follow our step-by-step instructions in our Find, add & buy section.

Can I add extra items after I have placed an order?

Due to the fact that we offer a next business day delivery, orders are being processed and sent very quick. We advise you to first check your order status, which you can find in your Order history in your Sportbay account. If the order has status Paid and you contact us immediately by phone and e-mail - we will do our best to update your order with the new items. However, if your order status is Processing or Sent, we have no means to add any additional products to your current order and advise you to place a new one.

How can I cancel my order?

We advise you to first check your order status, which you can find in your Order history in your Sportbay account. All unpaid orders are being automatically cancelled in 3 business days, which means that this requires no additional effors. If the order has status Paid, we advise you to contact us immediatelly by phone or e-mail in order to inform us about the cancellation of your order. However, if your order status is Processing or Sent, we are not able to cancel your order anymore. Please contact us via phone or mail and we will look for a solution together!

Can I order through e-mail or by phone?

It is possible to place an order through e-mail or by calling us. However, we always advise to place an order through our website, so you can choose from a range of payment methods, track the shipment of your order and print an invoice for your purchased products anytime!

I didn't receive an invoice for my order.

You can always find and pring your invoice in your Order history at your Sportbay account.

The item I want to order is out of stock. What do I do now?

Please contact us via e-mail or phone and we will inform you on the re-stocking date or offer you an alternative product.

Where do I fill in the discount code?

You can fill in the discount code in the fourth step of your ordering process - the summary. This step is after you choose for a payment method, but before you confirm your order.

I think my payment has gone wrong, how can I pay for my order again?

We recommend that you place a new order and try with your payment again. You will receive all the information you need in the last step of the checkout process . Once we have received your payment, we will process your new order immediately, whereas your unpaid order will be automatically cancelled.

I have submitted several orders, but paid only one of them. What happens with my other orders (not paid)?

Unpaid orders are always automatically cancelled in around 3 business days and require no further actions.

Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?

Shopping on sportbay.nl is completely safe regardless of the payment method you choose. We ask and save no payment information on our site, we simply forward you to a secure banking or payment system enviroment through a secure SSL encrypted connection. Please note that we will begin processing your order as soon as the payment confirmation appears, therefore we cannot guarantee that we will successfully be able to change your address after your order has been placed. We strongly advise you to double check the delivery information you enter before you place an order. In any case, please contact us on info@sportbay.nl and we will do our best to deal with the changes in the delivery information.

Can I have my order delivered to a country that is not on a list?

That should be possible! Please contact us for a price quote. 

I have just placed an order, but I noticed that my delivery information (name or address) is not correct. What should I do?

Due to the fact that we offer a next business day delivery, orders are being processed and sent very quick. We advise you to first check your order status, which you can find in your Order history in your Sportbay account [link]. If the order has status Paid and you contact us immediately by phone and e-mail - we will do our best to update your order with a new address. However, if your order status is Processing or Sent, we have no means to change the address of your current order anymore. If the delivery address is incorrect, we advise you to contact us immediately regardless the status or your order.

Can I pick up my order at Sportbay store?

We surely love to meet our customers! You can always come by our warehouse in Maarsseveen between 14:00 and 19:00 every Monday to Friday. Our exact address can be found in our Contact us section.
